Betty has been practicing family law exclusively since her call to the bar in December 2004. Betty is a qualified collaborative lawyer and parenting coordinator.
Betty commenced practice as a litigator, including being counsel for the Ministry of Children and Family Development, and then expanded into Collaborative practice and as well, received her training to be a parenting coordinator.
She thoroughly enjoys working with her clients and navigating complex financial issues. She is a firm believer in out-of-court solutions and finding solutions outside of the box. She has assisted clients at all stages of their relationship: the commencement and the breakdown. She has been a board member for Collaborative Divorce Vancouver for the last several years and is currently sitting as Co-Chair. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Trial Lawyers Association, and Associates of Legal Aid.
If she is not assisting with her twins’ homework or tying their skates, Betty enjoys a ridiculous CrossFit workout, a good thriller, and a walk on the seawall.
